The Information Research unit of our IT customer service department processes requests for business information from internal clients globally. It is essential that this high-volume service is performed efficiently and accurately, with data from premier business information sources analysed and interpreted correctly. The information we provide, serves as the basis for decision on business endeavours of Swiss Re. Sounds like your kind of challenge?

Your main responsibilities will include answer client´s requests by researching information in specialized information systems. Amongst the products are information dossiers on news, financials and ratings of companies worldwide, which you will compile upon daily client request. At the same time, you will monitor and evaluate industry news for internal publication and produce bulletins with a precise market or geographical focus. Your work will be based on standardized scripts and require high attention to detail.

In addition, you will perform data quality and maintenance functions, ensuring that our various systems and data offer quality and consistency. You will coordinate service activities and share expertise with other Swiss Re information professionals worldwide.

Works independently with internal and external information sources and delivers information in response to the business needs of Swiss Re employees. Supports the department’s strategic goals through proactive management of daily tasks and clearly defined initiatives.

Your main tasks will be:
- Independently work with premier business intelligence sources, synthesize information and deliver high-quality results in response to client requests:
- Process information requests based on standardized scripts
- Compile information dossiers on companies worldwide
- Monitor and evaluate industry news and track updates with a precise market or geographic focus
- Deliver timely and high-quality research in response to none standardized information requests
- Keep abreast of issues and trends impacting unit service areas
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant service resources and ensure that they are being used to their full potential
- Promote services and products to Swiss Re Group by establishing and promoting strong relationships with internal clients
- Provide training to clients and colleagues on internal databases and external products
- Independently develops skill set through proactive coordination with other information specialists world-wide
- Coordinate service activities and shares expertise with other Swiss Re information specialists world-wide
- Perform data maintenance functions that ensure quality and consistency of systems
- Support the development of internal tools and processes that fully utilize Swiss Re expertise and processes
- Participate in projects and initiatives and ensures independent completion of assigned tasks.
- Carry out clearly defined tasks in support of service initiatives in a manner that is timely and transparent
