The Corporate Solutions Carrier Analytics Team is responsible for supporting the European carrier reporting teams with analysis, reports and accounting support according to Swiss and Luxembourg statutory accounting policies , Economic and Solvency II valuation principles for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions Ltd and Swiss Re International SE. As leader of the team you are responsible for the management and coordination of the local finance team and ensure that the above services are provided in the quality levels and timeline agreed with the respective carrier reporting teams. You provide hands-on support when required, but also seek possibilities to further develop and improve the team's delivery processes. Your broad skills allow you to support and perform quality checks on deliverables produced by your team. Further, you ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and audit requirements.
Main tasks:
1. Management and coordination of the local finance team
2. Relationship management for both the Swiss and Luxembourg Reporting team leads
3. Perform quality checks on deliverables
4. Support comprehensive analysis and business commentaries with respect to the accounting policy, reporting, monitoring and reconciliation activities according to the management requirements
5. Support the reconciliation process between statutory and group accounting principles
6. Prepare timely and accurately data for internal and external reporting
7. Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and the audit requirements
8. Support audit activities and prepare requested information in connection with the external audit and other external parties, like regulators or other governmental institutions
9. Participate in Finance related projects
10. Perform ad hoc tasks as required

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti
1. Seven or more years of work experience in the financial services industry (insurance / reinsurance business desirable)
2. University degree in Economics, Science or Business Administration
3. Qualification in Accounting and/or Audit
4. Proven history of profound knowledge regarding statutory accounting policies and regulatory framework
5. Proven skills in a leadership position
6. Experience in Economic valuations (EVM, Solvency II)
7. Experience in USGAAP/IFRS desirable, knowledge on Luxembourg or Swiss statutory accounting policies as a plus
8. Proven PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
9. Team player with good communication skills
10. Engaging and motivating
11. Excellent command of the English language and German/French as a plus
