Information and data manager junior/senior reporting to the Executive Director

The information and data manager works with all departments within the ESR to define and develop processes, to carry out and coordinate data collection efforts, to develop databases and to ensure data processing and reporting for the society’s initiatives including surveys, scientific studies and projects. The successful candidate can acquire, analyse and process data into actionable information.

Responsibilities:
• Communicate with all departments to identify and understand current processes and needs of each department and the organisation as a whole
• Acquire data from primary and secondary sources including survey design
• Interpret data, use data modelling, research and analytics skills to analyse results and provide actionable reports
• Maintain existing databases, data collection systems and identify interdependencies and if possible establish synergies between/consolidate disparate datasets
• Support departments in implementing recommendations and on how to use data
• Identify the processes and information technology required to fulfil these tasks
