Candidate Profile
A knowledgeable and adaptable Full-time MYP and DP Slovak Language and Literature Teacher is required for the ongoing academic year (May 2018) as well as for the commencement of the 2018/2019 academic year
Your Role
Teach Slovak to native and developing speakers at the Secondary School level within the IB Middle Years Program and Diploma Program (Higher and Standard Level Slovak Language and Literature curriculum).
Responsibilities:
- Support EISB guiding principles and adhere to school policies
- Planning, writing, delivering and assessing the Curriculum.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, in-service training activities and invigilation duties as required by the Head of School or Coordinators.
- Be available to conference with students out of class.
- To respect the confidential nature of discussions at staff meetings and other contexts in which sensitive information is likely to be communicated – particularly in terms of interaction with students.
- Support residential life of the school by chaperoning extra-curricular activities, clubs, field trips, camp, long weekend field day etc., and being a form tutor to a year group of students.
