Job description, responsibilities and duties
School Psychologist
Provide individual and group psychological services, advice, and consultations in the process of upbringing and education to children, pupils, legal representatives, the school's inclusive team, teaching staff in all year levels
Provide professional psychological care to students with learning and behavioural difficulties, students with disabilities and students from socially disadvantaged backgrounds
Actively participate in preventive activities within the activity plan of primary and secondary schools
Participate in the creation, updating, innovation of the IVVP – individual educational plan for pupils with special educational needs (ŠVVP), then participate in its application in practice
Participate in the enrollment of pupils in the 1st grades (Y2)
Provide individual and group psychological care to pupils in crisis social and life situations in connection with drug addiction and other socio-pathological phenomena
Actively cooperate with the professional staff of pedagogical and psychological counseling and prevention centres and prepares the documents necessary for the examination of the pupil
Cooperate and participate in the development of an action plan/action plans for inclusive education
Secondary Psychology Teacher (A-Level Only)
Teaching Secondary Pearson International A-Level Psychology curricula (up to 5 lessons per week)
Ensuring that teaching and learning in the classroom is of a consistently high quality
Actively contributing to a cohesive, hardworking and happy team, with a strong collegiate culture
Promoting and developing students’ academic, personal, and social development beyond the classroom
