Teacher of History

A professional teacher of History is required by the Cambridge International School in Bratislava. The appointed person will be able to teach History (part-time, 7 hours per week) to finishing High School level. A high level of English is required because although the students will be native Slovak speakers, the syllabuses and examinations will be from the University of Cambridge in England. The topics which will be taught during the next year are "Liberalism and Nationalism in Italy and Germany, 1848–1871" and "Modern Europe, 1789–1917" according to the AS and A Level syllabus of the University of Cambridge which can be downloaded at http://www.cambridgeschool.eu/en/curriculum-learning/documents/

Excellent working conditions, very small class sizes (perhaps as few as one or two students for these courses).

An appointment may be made earlier if a suitable candidate is found.
