Field Service Engineer - Netherlands

The client is a global player in the field of large packaging machines. The machines are designed and manufactured in (among other) its premises in the city of Eindhoven, The Netherlands and from there out sold and installed worldwide.



The position

As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for service and maintenance of the machines on site at the customer. Because of a very diverse customer base, you are frequently travelling, locally as well as internationally, also outside Europe. You solve technical problems and issues independently and location, you are the face of the company at the customers.



As such you will be

- preparing and conducting on-site service and maintenance of our machinery;
- solving defects / problems;
- cooperating and communicating with the customer;
- cooperating and communicating with the internal organization of the company
- provide user training to the customers;
- report internally about customer visits



Skill, competences, educational background

- you have a medium to higher level mechanical / electrical education
- you have extensive experience in PLC technology
- experience in a similar position is a must
- you are independent with a strong personality;
- you have strong analytical skills;
- you are customer and service oriented with a nose for business opportunities;
- you are a team player with a flexible attitude and hands on mentality;
- you are willing to travel frequently internationally
- you have a BE drivers license;
- your English is excellent whereas knowledge of other languages ​​is an advantage.



Annual Salary

EUR 40.000 – 45.000 excluding extras
