Job description, responsibilities and duties

SpecPage is a leading provider of innovative software solutions, supporting food and beverage industry in managing specification and innovation. Our modern and user friendly solutions were developed together with the customers to help them tackle the unique and complex processes of quality assurance and product development.

The finance and HR manager will be an integral member of a dynamic team located in our subsidiary Bratislava, hosting a team of around 40 staff of software developers, support & project managers and telemarketing.

Reporting directly to the CEO who is located in Switzerland, the Finance & HR Manager will work closely with all internal departments and service providers on a wide variety of matters.

The position requires some IT and software knowledge in addition to great time management and organizational skills, but the most important aspect of this position is exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to deal seamlessly with staff members.

• Managing the accounting and finance activities for all our subsidiaries, currently in Slowakia, Switzerland and the US
• Develop, implement and perform accounting and reporting procedures for the local organisation, but also for our international offices
• Develop and maintain processes for accounting, invoicing, expenses controlling and cash flow planning
• Develop and establish scalable reporting and controlling processes
• Develop and maintain procedures for managing and controlling of internal and external projects roll out
•Organizing and coordinating office procedures, operations, and resources to make easy organizational efficiency and effectualness
• Providing on the job role training, organizing training and orientation of new office members
• Preparing operational schedules and reports to ensure maximal efficiency
• Designing and implementing HR and office procedures and policies
• Analysing, monitoring internal and external processes
• Executing policy and procedural changes to develop and improve operational efficiency
• Preparing time sheets, controlling correspondences, and updating organizational memberships
