Job description, responsibilities and duties
For our client, we are looking for experienced Business analyst with IT background.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a bridge between the business and technical teams in order to ensure accurate delivery of a quality product or service
- Working with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements
- Identifying stakeholders, processes and systems impacted by new requirements, analyzing technical requirements
- Identifying and evaluating potential solutions and making recommendations on which solutions best meet the needs of business
- Translating identified business needs into functional specifications and defining technical requirements
- Coordinating with developers and technology team to ensure timely delivery of a quality solution
- Testing code and software changes, providing support during the testing and implementation phases
- Investigating production system issues to determine the root cause of problems and providing recommendations for resolution

Our client is a provider of IT solutions, systems, hardware and software services in banking sector. It operates data centres, bank systems, POS terminals and HW (servers and PC) and is responsible for development, implementation, support and servicing of banking software and its operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)
Personality requirements and skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with writing and analysing business requirements and functional specifications documents
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
- Understanding of IT systems, processes, technologies, architecture and infrastructure, including data warehousing, ETL, cloud computing, operating systems, databases, and APIs
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as JIRA, VISIO…
- 3-5 years of working experience as Business Analyst or similar position
