C++ Mainframe Developer

About the Role
For our client we are seeking for experienced C++ Mainframe Developer. Successful candidate will work on moderately complex projects with a high breadth of responsibility. The role covers participation in far-reaching research projects, making important decisions. Candidate will work independently on assigned tasks and will have independent authority to make significant changes to systems and environment.

Responsibilities
- Consult with users, to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications
- Design and develop computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user defined requirements
- Write code, program, test, and analyze new application software
- Negotiate with vendors to determine price and technical functionality
- Formulate management policies for user rights and security
- Advise IT management about IT issues within the Company
- Perform additional job duties as required
