Job description, responsibilities and duties
As a Senior ServiceNow Developer you will be responsible for projects of international enterprise customers in Europe, implementing the cloud platform of ServiceNow. Our projects combine pro-cess consulting - based on ITIL - and tool implementation – according to SCRUM. The challenge of this position is not only to fulfill the high level technical challenges and customer request but as well to simultaneously engage in the know-how transfer within the company.
As Senior ServiceNow Developer you will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Planning and realization of project streams for technical implementation of ServiceNow (e.g. Screen tailoring, Workflow administration, Report setup, LDAP integration, Interfaces to / integration of 3rd party IT systems, ServiceNow system setup, Configuration (forms, tables), Customization & tailoring (JavaScript), Integration development outside Service-Now, Documentation of achieved results, Testing activities
• Planning, coordination and alignment of technical project streams with customer’s as well as project team’s technical experts, in compliance with the scope of work
• Application and enforcement of the „Start-Now“method in ServiceNow projects
o Analysis, documentation and management of customer requirements using stand-ardized methods of requirements engineering (discover, document, validate, man-age)
o Preparation and execution of workshops with customer, e.g. Scoping workshops, Gap-analysis workshops, Sprint planning, Sprint review
o Actively support customer requirements and definition of implementable stories using the SCRUM method
o Advise implementation team in using SCRUM methodology
• Act as Solutions Architect
o Design custom specific services considering the existing functionality of the Ser-viceNow platform as well as the soon-to-be functionality according to their product roadmap
o Identification and evaluation of the most effective as well as efficient scenario and method for implementation
• Technical lead for roll out of new ServiceNow applications and modules
• Manage troubleshooting as well as patch & release management issues
• Plan and lead support tasks for ServiceNow applications already being deployed during the project e.g. early life support
• Project management for ServiceNow projects
• Monitor ServiceNow consultants regarding coding and responsible for the quality assurance across multiple implementation projects
• Perform training courses for customers as well as solid-serVision colleagues
