Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Junior ServiceNow Developer you will be involved in projects for international enterprise customers in Europe, implementing the cloud platform of ServiceNow. Our projects combine process consulting - based on ITIL - and tool implementation – according to SCRUM. Being guided by experienced Senior ServiceNow Consultants as well as Senior ServiceNow Developers you will be working in a challenging environment, allowing your skills and personal responsibilities to grow.
As Junior ServiceNow Developer you will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Realization of technical work packages and implementation task in ServiceNow projects following the methodical standards of “StartNow” being supported by Project Manager, Project Stream Leads and Solutions Architects (e.g.: screen tailoring, workflow administration, report setup, LDAP integration, interfaces to 3rd party IT systems, ServiceNow system set-up, configuration (forms, tables), customization & tailoring (JavaScript), testing activities)
• Independent discussion and alignment of assigned technical work packages with the customer as well as project team’s technical experts
• Actively support a high quality level of JavaScript coding
• Facilitate roll out of new ServiceNow applications and modules
• Assist in troubleshooting and patch & release management issues
• Perform support tasks for ServiceNow applications already being deployed during the project e.g. early life support
• Support Project Manager with some selective project management support activities, e.g. update project plans, schedule meetings etc.
• Ensure the know-how exchange between colleagues (knowledge concerning modules and functions of ServiceNow, software development methodology and standards etc.)
• Get involved in upcoming more complex software development activities based on the ServiceNow platform
• Represent the interests of solid-serVision in front of customers and business partners

• Knowledge of the ServiceNow implementation methodology “Start-Now” is a plus
• Knowledge concerning the ServiceNow platform and the ITIL framework is an advantage
• Good knowledge in JaveScript is replaceable by advanced knowledge of web technologies such as .NET
