What would you be responsible for in this role?

* Design and implementation of one or more product features / modules in Java-based web applications
* Participation on development of various aspects of the product (web services, business logic, database, user interface)
* Create design documents from requirements
* Collaborate with testing, documentation and product management

What is required to succeed in this position:
* Strong problem solving and debugging skills
* Demonstrated creativity and intelligent thinking
* Strong command of Java, J2EE, and enterprise web applications
* A minimum of 3 years of software development experience using Java
* Solid understanding of the development process
* Excellent communication skills
* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

What are some desired (not required) skills?
* Development experience including knowledge of Web Services, Spring & Hibernate
* Experience with Eclipse, Tomcat, Maven, PostgreSQL and Perforce or Subversion
* Databases (SQL) knowledge and experience
* Experience with FlexBuilder, Flex and Flash (ActionScript)
