Network Project Manager

Network project manager is responsible for network projects for our clients and their customers. Project manager implements and conducts LAN and WAN projects, migration, extension of existing infrastructure, infrastructure refresh.

Responsibilities:

Work with the lead project/program manager and other members and stakeholders of the program and particular projects.
Participate in defining/understanding the projects scope, tactics and plans.
Identify, document and communicate action items, issues and any risks of projects to it’s internal stakeholders as well as customer representatives.
Communicate status of particular projects, phases of projects, change and implementation updates and action items throughout the project’s life cycle to it’s internal stakeholders and customer representatives
Work with the project lead to manage escalations (expedited requests) within the Networks group in accordance with the escalation process
Identify potential synergy points among the projects and leverage from the experience within the program to optimize the overall portfolio (time, budget, resources…)
Perform knowledge transfer with the affected teams and other stakeholders, acquire trainings on new technologies
Follow the projects roadmap (from planning to delivery)
Coordinate subcontractor teams who execute some parts of the roadmap where necessary
Participate in the ordering process of HW and WAN lines
Periodically update/share all project data on SharePoint (to provide better and up2date visibility)
Manage, coordinate, track and communicate all resource details within the scope of projects to particular stakeholders (project/people managers) and provide reports to higher management

Requirements:

Applications - MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, SM9
Technology - mainly but not limited to Procurve / HPN / F5 / Checkpoint / Aruba
Technology certifications - CCNA and higher certification or any other network level equivalent is more than welcome
Service scope - VPN / Proxy / LAN / WAN experience advantage, Firewall / IPS / Wireless area
Good Project management skills. Ability to coordinate tasks with several people, teams, departments; Commitment to timelines and effort.
Good knowledge of English
Excellent communication skills
Good cross-cultural team player
Used to work in international environment

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
