Network Tools Engineer - DNS/DHCP

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for talented and highly motivated individual to fill DNS engineer position. You would be a part of team managing very important part of HP ES infrastructure – DNS and related Hostmaster activities.  The goal are:

·         Improve operational processes by implementing, integrating DNS/DHCP and IP management solutions

·         Provide support on existing DNS infrastructure

·         Coordinate rollout and transformations of customer’s DNS environment & solutions

·         Train operational & engineering teams for processes and best practices

·         Ensure documentation is up to date

·         Ensure Process are followed according to standard

·         Implement process optimization

·         Proactively propose improvements towards higher efficiency and stability

·         Contribute to tools roadmap and strategy using latest technology

Requirements for the employee

Requirements and skills

We are looking for a Network Tools Engineer with 2-5 years of experience working in an international, English speaking environment.  The candidate must have following knowledge:

·         Understand IP Networks concepts (LAN, WAN, Security, Internet, IP Management)

·         Excellent knowledge of DNS/DHCP/BOOTP

·         Knowledge of IP management tools

·         Good Technical expertise in HP-UX and Linux system administration

·         Experience in shell scripting

 Language:

·         English mandatory (technical English, read, written, spoken)

·         Able to communicate with colleagues located in US

·         Previous experience with international, English speaking environment is a plus
