Job description:

Deskside support for all IT related issues
A focal point of contact for IT related incidents
Physical attendance of an IT related issue where required
Providing assistance/training setting up equipment (phones, laptops, desktops, printers) etc
Printer support – changing toner, paper, troubleshooting
Visual inspections of working environments to determine better working practices and fault prevention (eg Cable Checking, Planed Maintenance activities)
Assisting Visiting VIP’s with connectivity issues

Requirements:

Wide range of skills across a number of platforms or highly specialised in one.
Minimum of 2 open systems demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge.
Writes operational procedures.
Provides formal training to junior engineers. Professional accreditation or equivalent practical experience. ITIL foundation.
