Project Manager

Objectives & missions of the position:

• Works on IT separation projects - Implements IT infrastructure projects for the receiving IT organization
• Updates documentation for the operations support teams, works on handover activities from source to target support teams
• Facilitates local sites preparation activities, so that sites are able to prepare necessary technologies in time, before infrastructure cutover.
• Implements and manages IT Infrastructure projects, with the aim of achieving an optimum result which complies with requirements formulated by the Global IT Project and Operations Management, as regards quality, performance, cost, delivery and security.

 
 
Responsibilities

• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Agreeing project objectives in collaboration with central IT staff
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
  
  • For the Business
  • For the external suppliers
  • For the Customer (if applies)
  • For central IT Organisation (if needed)
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the project activites while ensuring guidelines are maintained
• Using EnterProj system to keep track of people, cost and progress
• Perform risk assessment/management when necessary
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions following Change Control process and approvals
• Manage project budget & costs
• Project evaluations and assessment of results
• Deliverables :
  
  • Detailed functional specifications for the project
  • Acceptance report
  • Develop full scale project plan, schedule project timelines, gates, etc….
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions in a standard format

 
Skills and experience requirements

• Proven Project Management experience, certifications (Prince2, PMP, …) are beneficial but not necessary
• Experience working within an international IT department within a multinational company preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent English is a must
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• High level of proficiency in Project Management tools (MS Project, EnterProj , …)
• High level of proficiency in methodology
• Must be positive, assertive, outgoing person – able to interact well in an international and diverse team
• Highly professional behavior and attitude, able to interact at all levels of the organization
• Flexible attitude and ability to occasionally work outside of office hours for project or travel situations.
