Database Administrator Oracle

The main goal is to minimize the amount of unplanned downtimes in the customer's production environment and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction as well as deliver the project work on time and in efficient way. On top of mentioned there will be challenging project work on Customer related project within the huge consolidation programs. He/she will work in close relationship with the Deep technical support team and project leaders who will coordinate all the actions for the Customer.

Main Responsibilities are ensuring compliance with the Oracle license agreement, maintaining system security, controlling and monitoring user access to the database, monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database, performing DB Reorganisations (on Request), contacting Oracle Corporation for technical support, installing and upgrading the Oracle Server and application tools, Understand system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system.

Practical experience in HP-UX / Linux
Oracle Certified DBA.
Excellent understanding of high availability environments, MC Service Guard
Excellent in the area of Database Backup and restore, and show practical experience of implementation.
Exceptional customer communications skills, both verbal and written
Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
Service oriented behavior and communication to internal and external contacts
Team player
Fluent in English
