Systems Management Engineer

In the areas of Server Automation, Asset Inventory, and Configuration Management Data Repositories, applies subject matter product and solution knowledge to solve complex business issues.
Uses consulting skills including questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport and subject matter influencing to establish requirements and accomplish project tasks. Capable of consulting, designing, testing, implementing, managing capability requirements into the system using internal methodology.
• Responsible for client/account interactions, as required
• Provide technical support, analysis, and/or direction in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer’s business needs
• Ensuring project deliverable is completed accurately and on time
• Responsible for escalating the issues, problems, risks, and constraints to the appropriate parties for clarification and resolution
• Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the Global Tools Engineering specifications, methodologies, and practical application of ITIL practices and processes
• Provide technical consulting and Server Automation solutions to accounts and ES project teams
• Implement changes in accordance with published Change Management guidelines
• Actively contribute to solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects
• Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

UNIX/Linux administration - Advanced

• At least two years of experience with Server Automation, Asset Inventory, and Configuration Management
• Solid understanding in Networks, Firewalls, Routers, and IP Filters
• Familiar with Linux and Unix troubleshooting
• Solid skills in using MS Project, MS Office, and SharePoint are a plus
• Understanding of Database Technologies
• Experience with various application migration techniques & agents
• Understanding of storage migration techniques
