Network Change Engineer

The Implementation Supervisor is experienced and fully qualified NW member with technical and communication skills, responsible for consultancy, leading, coordinating and supporting major changes (complex & non-standard), projects and implementations according to ITSM/ITIL standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Leads planning activities in preparation of change implementation
- Responsible for completion of a change record, this would include description, classification, pre-planning
- Assists Change Manager to complete the activities associated to the planning phase of a change (risk & impact, resource plan, test & acceptance plan, implementation plan and back out plan)
- Assists Change Manager to ensure all parties associated with change approvals are identified and informed (communication plan)
- Leads and coordinates the deployment of a change or project, this would include resource planning, scheduling, build and test activities, implementation and monitoring phases
- Reviews completed change or projects and recommends associated closure codes
- Triggers Problem Management for any changes which were unsuccessful
