.Net Developer - Migration Lead

The AsM Migration Lead is responsible to coordinate various migration projects of HP accounts’ Asset Management solutions from legacy environments to current standards. As part of this role, he or she is responsible for account investigations, solution clarifications, process analysis as well as participation on process design. A strong IT background is key to this role due to the high level of automation of the current standard solution.

The key areas of responsibility are:

• Cooperate with other migration leads and program leader to identify accounts to be migrated.
• Analyze specific accounts’ solutions and processes to identify and develop migration plans.
• Create and communicate migration project plans, migration deliverables and document risks. Provide periodic updates to project and program stakeholders.
• Analyze account processes and procedures and contribute to mapping them to the future solution processes. Communicate changes to stakeholders and mitigate change related risks.
• Coordinate project activities, participate on workload planning and consult solution specifics for the migration team.
• Deliver project initiation and closure collateral, prepare relevant communication packages leveraged from previous successful projects.

• Strong IT background – understanding of concepts of databases, applications, software development as well as recent trends in the industry, ideally coming from having DB or SW development experience.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and practices (Prince, PMP or Scrum), ideally from having led or coordinated project teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and an inquisitive mindset
• Ability to break down complex problems and situations into simple smaller structures and efficiently explain them to people unfamiliar with the topic
• Fluent spoken and written English
