Software / Test Developer - Medical Systems

Task Description:

Your task will be the implementation and maintenance of the embedded test software for medical systems, e.g. x-ray machines, in parallel to the ongoing implementation and maintenance of the systems’ software. The development of the test software will utilize different script languages to control the test performance.
Transferring of the test application to the embedded target and the performance of the tests and analysis of test results will also belong to your field of application.
Conditionally your responsibility may also comprise prototyping and analysis regarding implementation and reuse of object oriented application frameworks, including porting them to new hardware and software environments.
You will work as a member of an international team located in Prague and Erlangen (Germany).

Required Skills:

You should have experience in active software development (e.g. C/C++/Perl/PHP) for a minimum of 1 year and acquired skills like listed below:

Software development and operating systems
Mandatory:
- Script language, minimum 1 year active development
- Usage of Windows Operating System
Conditionally:
- C++, minimum 1 year active development
- RUBY
- QNX neutrino operating system or other Realtime operating systems
- Unix or variants of the operating system
- VxWorks
- CANTATA++ for testing
- IDE QNX Momentic

Methodologies and other skills
Mandatory:
- Reading/Writing/Speaking English
- Basic understanding of German
- Driving Licence
Conditionally:
- understanding of object oriented programming style
- UML (using Rational Rose or Rhapsody or any other tool for UML modelling)
- Reading/Writing/Speaking German
