Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Perform localization activities in order to find local mechanical (plastic, metal) & electronic part suppliers which fulfill OEM requirements
- Strong project management skillset (APQP, PCDS,...)
- Build and maintain a network of suppliers in the Eastern Europe area
- Monitoring and developing supplier’s performance
- Support projects with competitive costs and savings plan by introducing the local suppliers
- Support the introduction of the transfer and new projects by activities which include data maintenance, escalations
- Responsible for local sourcing activities: negotiate and identify the best potential suppliers (best costs, best quality) in order to introduce a second source
- Visit suppliers and attend to suppliers audits.
- KPI monitoring and reports

- Experienced driver

- Production experience MAKE or BUY
- IT skills (MS Project)
- Fluent in English language
- Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing and localization activities/ project management acumen
