Compliance Specialist

• identify compliance risks and misconducts in the areas of Competition law, Personal data protection (GDPR), Consumer protection, International sanctions, Anti-money laundering, and
• provide recommendations to the investigated unit to mitigate the identified risks to avoid negative business, legal, financial or reputational consequences.
• In fulfilling its preventive role, Compliance promotes compliance culture by preparation and execution of awareness raising trainings/simulations.

• performing compliance investigations, drafting compliance reports/providing *recommendations, in English, with special focus on Competition law, Personal data protection (GDPR), Consumer protection, International sanctions, Anti-money laundering.
• improving compliance culture by advocating compliant conduct and holding awareness raising trainings.
• providing consultation/ad-hoc advising to stakeholders, other compliance-related tasks as may be required.

• Slovak University degree in Law (LL.M. from a reputable university is an advantage)
• Relevant experience in Legal/Compliance field, mainly Competition and GDPR
• Law firm experience (Bar exam is an advantage)
• Professional command of Legal English (legal drafting/presentation)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills
• Personal Integrity
• Internal investigation experience is an advantage
• Resilience, willingness to gain experience in new fields of law
