Procurement Specialist

Purpose of job Control and supervision of the complex procurement process, within his scope of authority.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Within his scope of authority, provision of full-range, high-level and flexible procurement services in material/asset and service procurement categories, including ensuring professional control and supervision.
• 2. Monitoring, analysis and consolidation of procurement demands, market processes, tendencies, assessment and analysis of potential risk factors.
• 3. Participation in preparing short and medium term procurement plans for material/asset and service procurement categories in accordance with the then effective company and procurement strategies.
• 4. Management and control of contacts with suppliers and internal ordering business and functional units in material/asset and service procurement categories. Preparation and permanent monitoring of the annual procurement plan. Supervision of evaluation results of the „Vendor management" system and incorporation of such results into the evaluation criteria system.
• 5. Management and control of the tender, evaluation and selection processes in material/asset and service procurement categories.
• 6. Management of contracting processes, head of contractual negotiations. Responsible for professional content of contracts, and ensuring full compliance with the then effective legal and financial regulations.
• 7. Preparation, negotiation and maintenance of contracts within his/her area of responsibility.

• University degree - economics/technical/chemical qualification
• min. 5-year experiences in procurement or in Logistics
• thorough market, product and distribution knowledge
• experience in contracting and negotiations
• knowledge of domestic and international laws and regulatory environment
• Microsoft Office (IT) office applications,
• Data warehouses,(electronic procurement e Tender/ eCatalogue)
• Financial analysis skills
• Project experiences
• English - advanced
• Slovak - advanced / native
• knowledge of Hungarian Language advantage
