YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Tax Specialist’s role is a role within the internal tax department with a primary emphasis on preparation and maintaining the strategy for optimized tax management of the company in compliance with the respective legislative framework.
Participates in planning & control of all tax affairs of the company.
Ensures compliance between the respective legislation and the internal guidelines of the company related to taxation matters.
Follows changes in the respective tax legislation and ensures effective communication and modifications of internal procedures within the company.
Participates on preparation of direct and indirect tax returns and conducts technical tax reviews.
Participates in complex company contracts commenting & assessment from the point of view of tax compliance (SK legislation, valid international treaties and European legislation and case laws).
As an expert on taxation provides internal consulting in taxation matters to other units of the company.
Participates in complex tax problem solving from a methodological point of view.
Takes active part in strategy definition and maintenance for an optimal tax management of the company.
