Job description

The Turnover Manager is responsible for:

  • Management of the system preparation process for turnover to commissioning in cooperation with the Construction Management Manager, reporting to the Construction Management Manager;
  • Monitoring and coordination of installation, quality inspections and engineering activities on the site to meet the delivery deadline for relevant STP pursuant to TPSD;
  • Participation in the Kick-off-meeting organized by the Commissioning Manager for the turnover purpose;
  • Participation in regular progress meetings called by the Project Manager – Milestone Owner to discuss findings from system inspections before their turnover and reporting of actual STD status;
  • Takeover of TPSD documents from CTC;
  • Issue of instructions to contractors regarding STP and ATD preparation;
  • Ensure that STP considers the boundaries defined in TPSD;
  • Proposal of corrective actions to finalize STP in line with TSPD to the Construction Manager;
  • Submission of preliminary STP version to the Turnover Manager;
  • Participation in the non-active testing kick-off-meeting in line with MO34/MNA-860.02;
  • Identification of OH&S dangerous places before inspection of systems;
  • Participation in the inspection of systems before their turnover to testing;
  • Participation in the meeting after inspection of systems before their turnover to testing to discuss the inspection findings;
  • Removal of incomplete items and other discrepancies found during the inspection before turnover of systems to testing, coordination of corrective actions;
  • Proposal of deadlines for removal of defects / incomplete items;
  • Handover of original STP for archiving;
  • Considering relevant T/O milestone, monitoring of status and progress of the installation activities, preparation of quality documentation and installation documentation and verification of the corrective action results; reporting the status to the Project Manager – Milestone Owner;
  • Management of the overall STP documentation preparation process based on TPSD;
  • Preparation of inputs and elaboration of input documents for partial STP for contractors;
  • Management of contractors at STP preparation;
  • Management of the overall defect removal process including preparation of all required lists;
  • Management and preparation of required documentation for all process steps for turnover of systems to commissioning;
  • Issuance of all required protocols;
  • Provision of the Erection completion protocol (in line with the update of the Atomic act No. 143/2013 Coll., article 10(1)(u) – (w) – hereinafter the Compliance protocol) and removal of defects found during the compliance check;
  • Cooperation with all involved units and contractors.
