Senior Electrical Design Specialist

Main activities of the job holder will be:

• Supervision of the detailed design documentation produced by the Main Contractor, such as:

Functional and Technical Reports;
Power and Functional schemes;
Wiring and Interconnecting diagrams;
One-line diagram;
Calculations;
Electrical Protections setting reports;
Electrical and Equipment Layouts;
Cable routing;
Lighting, grounding;

• Cable trays layouts, routing and filling check;

• Pre-analysis of feasibility for Erection in strict coordination with STO;

• Assistance for issues related to I&C cabling and interconnections;

• Cooperation with PE appointed to Complex Cable Coordination including also data from I&C;

• EMC review and cable shields grounding through the PE appointed to this task;

• Electrical Load List and switchboards configuration and check with P&IDs;

• MCC and power supply boards design, database and interactions;

• Electrical systems and components DD commenting and approval;

• Technical interactions with Vendors and Contractors on Cable and Cable Hermetic Penetration;

• Electrical Detailed Design review after stress test;

• Cable Quantities monitoring and control.

The Senior Electrical Design Specialist reports to the Head of Electrical Design.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years relevant experience in the Electrical detailed design of a complex project;

• Past experiences in “Nuclear Plant Design” will be considered a plus; VVER plant design knowledge will be preferred;

• Good knowledge of English language;

• Good communication skills;

• Problem solving attitude;

• Independence with team work capabilities;

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
