Senior Integration Developer - Middleware/Gateways

As an Integration Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining middleware solutions to enable efficient communication between our systems and external partners. Your primary focus will be on implementing and publishing REST APIs, ensuring their reliability, security, and scalability to meet the demands of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and deploy middleware solutions using industry-leading tools and frameworks.
• Implement and publish REST APIs to expose backend services securely and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in middleware development, with a focus on implementing REST APIs.
• Understanding. of middleware technologies and protocols (e.g., API Gateways, JSON, YAML, XML, WSDL).
• Basic experience of security standards in web/API development (e.g., Oauth2, OpenID, JWT).
• Experience with Git/Gitlab and work in team.
• Knowledge of Linux as standard user.
• Proficiency in programming languages: Python beginner.
• Experience with industry-standard tools (Docker/Podman).
• Languages: Slovak, English – B1/B2 with ability read and understand technical texts.

Soft skills:

• Willingness to learn new things and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
