Pracovná náplň:

Job Purpose:

  • The Sourcing Expert drives the strategic arm of the purchasing cycle and owns the development, implementation, and improvement of sourcing strategies for specific categories.
  • Sourcing Expert tasks consists of the timely and cost-effective planning and acquisition of quality materials, supplies, services and resources, which includes the co-coordination with associated groups and leading the resolution of planning and purchasing problems.
  • The Sourcing Expert is responsible for the commercial relationship with suppliers and will establish the terms and conditions of purchase in close cooperation with our customers and in balance to our fiduciary responsibilities to Erste Group Procurement (EGP)’s owner. The Sourcing Expert in general owns Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).

Tasks / Key Elements:

  • Develops, implements and improves sourcing strategy for specific categories
  • Proactively generates cost reduction and cost avoidance out of defined sourcing strategies
  • Understand and track the key cost drivers and market factors for as-signed commodities
  • Drive continuous improvement in QCD of procurement product or services in alignment with the respective category strategies
  • Pragmatically manage and optimise supplier performance in terms of increasing provided service level and reduction of total cost of ownership (TCO)
  • Hands-on drive the location, analysis, and development of a consolidated supplier base to meet current and future commodity needs for assigned categories
  • Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement through adequate performance management tools (e.g. Supplier Scorecards, Quarterly Business Reviews) for assigned categories
  • Pragmatically manage and optimise supplier performance in terms of increasing provided service level and reduction of total cost of ownership (TCO)
  • Hands-on drive the location, analysis, and development of a consolidated supplier base to meet current and future commodity needs for assigned categories
  • Create and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement through adequate performance management tools (e.g. Supplier Scorecards, Quarterly Business Reviews) for assigned categories
  • Pragmatically works with suppliers to drive best deal based on TCO/QCD
  • Proactive, timely escalation of issues for effective resolution
  • Pragmatically utilisation of appropriate tool for achievement of QCD, TCO, and goals of Procurement Strategy (RFx, reverse auction, single sourcing strategy, dual source strategy, multiple sourcing strategy, strategic partnership, etc.) following established EGP policies and procedures
  • Proactive, proper communication of results, contracts, issues, performance, etc. within EGP and to our customers through appropriate channels
  • Any other sourcing related operational or strategic activities upon management request

Requirements for the Job

  • Five (5) years relevant work experience (purchasing and/or SCM)
  • Strong influencing and networking skills with an all-encompassing leadership style
  • International, multi-site environment with understanding of different cultures and traditions
  • Demonstrate achievement and experience based on the segments in the Professional competency level in the CIPS Global Standard (www.cips.org/careers/global-standard-for-procurement-and-supply/)
  • Experience in complex negotiation
  • Experience with customers

Education and trainings

  • Senior Professional in Supply Management (SPSM 1/2/3) certified or equivalent
  • Certified CIPS Ethical Procurement and Supply
  • Category Specific Certifications (e.g. FM, IT Certifications)
  • University degree or equivalent with and advanced degree preferable (ECTS of 240 or more preferred)
