Purpose:

The Information Infrastructure Architect is responsible to analyze and understand business requirements, create a technical solution based upon technology expertise, industry knowledge and creative, collaborative thinking.
This role is responsible for defining and designing solutions, documenting and communicating these solutions and building consensus around the solution.
Although the focus is on information (data) the IIA should have technical expertise in data bases (preferable SQL), analytical tools (preferable QlikView), general-purpose programming language, (preferable PHP)

Responsibilities:

Assist the Business Intelligence Unit in running, maintaining and improving current data landscape
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Gather information from various sources (internal and external)
Analyze existing infrastructure solutions to understand existing performance and functionality
Develop clear and accurate documentation of the existing solutions and requirements
Collaborate closely with the EGP teams, customers and suppliers to ensure the stake holders are involved in the analysis and requirements gathering

Požiadavky:

3 year experience in developing technical solutions
Knowledge of Data base; SQL or equivalent
Analytical tools; QlikView or equivalent
Scripting; PHP or equivalent
Working in multicultural cross functional teams
Ability to communicate effectively to peers, executives, customer and suppliers
Strong hands-on personality, results-oriented, pragmatic, high quality standards, ability to multi tasks
Detail oriented thorough, complete
Self-motivated and able to work with ambiguity
Willing to travel
Fluency in English (knowledge of CEE languages is an advantage)
Place of work is situated in the capital of the respective country - BRATISLAVA
