You will be a part of GSK Commercial Pharmaceuticals Business. Commercial Management in Pharmaceuticals is about bringing medicines to market that save lives and tackle chronic illnesses.

Our Commercial Management graduate pathway will stimulate your early career development through broad-ranging experiences. Your development will come through challenging job rotations, supported by formal learning and coaching. You’ll have the benefit of improving your commercial management skills while gaining valuable leadership training in the pharmaceutical industry.

Your Programme will consist of 3 rotations in our organization. Each rotation lasts for 1 year. The programme length is 3 years in total.

1st rotation in Customer Facing Role

2nd rotation in Marketing

3rd rotation based on employee potential assessment, usually in abroad

What do I need to succeed?
A variety of degrees can be successful – from business to science, but you’ll need ambition, commercial awareness and a self-motivated, proactive approach. We’re looking for clear, effective communicators who can quickly build a rapport with a wide range of people. It’s also important that you can adapt to change and keep focused when the pressure is on. Whilst possessing the drive and confidence to trust your own judgment, you’re a real team player who actively collaborates with others. In addition, you’ll need an analytic mind, a talent for multitasking and the ability to influence others.

What will I learn?
We will give you a breadth of experience across the key areas of our Commercial business, including Marketing, Sales and Customer Management. Challenging rotations from the start will help you to deliver the standards of commercial excellence in line with a future leadership role.

Where can I work?
In Pharmaceuticals, our Commercial Management career path is available in all of our 5 cluster countries - Slovakia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Hungary and Austria.

About you

• Academic excellence with strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Medical Background (pharmaceuticals, medical, natural science) education is a big advantage.
• Economic or management combination is a big advantage.
• Proven extra school initiative and experience is essential (part time job, student clubs, organizations, other initiatives, etc).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Fluent in English (Written & Spoken)
• Open to travel
