Job description, responsibilities and duties
Main Responsibilities:
- Internal logistics (inbound, outbound, warehousing, stock valuation, inventory management)
- External logistics (supply-chain, transportation, ADR, customs relations)
- Ensure an optimal inventory levels
- Elimination of stock-outs and write offs
- Monthly reconciliation of inventories; organization and execution of annual inventory counts
- Ensure label and packaging changes implements on time
- Controlling if adequate transportation conditions are met
- Control freight expenditure within Supply Chain & drive innovative cost efficiencies
- Procurement
- Control and manage Material Requirement Plan
- Establish long lasting relationships with supply base and subsidiary colleagues
- Strategic cooperation with suppliers in order to enhance company´s capabilities
- Continuously work on supplier improvements and supply chain improvement
- To Supervise Supply Chain operations
- Liaison with other departments (Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Sales, IT) and the supply base to ensure variable shift operating patterns.
- Performance measurement & improvement initiatives in logistic area
- Prepare & maintain accurate KPI's reporting, factory reporting in the area of logistic and supply-chain
- Generate & maintain standards & procedures Interfacing with key areas
- Team leadership and motivation, coaching
- Organizing and monitor all related activities to achieve the continuous improvement in all supply chain processes – highest quality in the shortest time for the lowest costs, optimizing the whole process, creating best practice
In this position you will have the full responsibility for the following departments: logistics, purchasing, warehouse, shipping department. Among others your accountabilities will be the inventory control, material costs and the on-time deliveries.
