Quality Engineer

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Supports requirements flow down through review of purchase requisitions.
• Reviews supplier audit results and initiates requests for audits when needed.
• Supports inspection of product inspection and verification to compliance.
• Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.
• Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.
• Resolves routine issues and concerns.
• Manage Supplier Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and issues Supplier Corrective Actions Requests (SCARs)
• Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
• Perform problem-solving through analysis of metrics to improve supplier performance.
• Spoken/Written university level English
• Other duties as assigned by the functional Quality Manager

• Experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Experience interfacing and presenting to peers, senior and executive leadership
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience working closely with other engineering disciplines in an integrated team environment
• Experience with regulatory requirements
• Experience reviewing contracts, managing suppliers, and/or experience working with inventory
• Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 3-5 years as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer
• Willing to travel up to 20%

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : starting from 2000 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
