SAP Release Manager

Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Release Manager you will be managing projects to implement change requests in SAP applications used by our organization globally. Typically, these changes are organized in major delivery packages with usually monthly go-live dates.

Your responsibilities will be including but not limited to the following:

• Project management of global SAP releases including planning, approval, controlling, reporting, closing
• Planning and prioritization of release contents in close collaboration with our business partners
• Resource planning for releases together with the team leads and the global Change Advisory Board
• Coordination of external contractors as part of the release and service delivery management
• Regular reporting of the current release status in the change management process
• Travel internationally to meetings with business partners and contractors (25%)

Professional skills:
• University degree with a specialization in business administration, computer science, business engineering or alternatively you poses similar working experience
• Deep knowledge as well as extensive practical experience with project management
• SAP knowledge, ideally with experience in SAP customization
• Good command of English and German languages (spoken and written)
• Ideally you bring experience working in intercultural environment
