Job description, responsibilities and duties

What we are looking for

As an IT Application Support Manager you will be providing 2nd level support for a number of software solutions in the area of Supply Chain and Manufacturing used by Healthcare Business Units in Europe, United States and China. Your tasks and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities will be:

Incident and Problem Management
- Ensure and control Incident and Problem Management to support the IT applications according to SLAs (if applicable)
- Serve as the first point of contact for the IT Application Manager and to involved

Subject Matter Experts when it comes to Incident Management
- Contact, control, and support internal and external service vendors

Quality/Compliance Management
- Support the IT Application Manager with creation and maintenance of the necessary documentation

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Educational Specialization
Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and
German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Academic degree in Computer Science/Engineering
- Young professional with 2-4 years of experiences in Incident Management or similar positions (ideally including references)
- Good verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on multicultural sensitivity
- Strong teamwork skills
- Structured, proactive, and self-directed work style
- Technical understanding of Web Application Architecture, Network infrastructure, and SQL Server database
- German and English knowledge, both languages are required


Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor or advanced degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in Healthcare industry business processes with a focus on Supply Chain and Manufacturing
- Availability for occasional international business travel
