Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a software developer to join a software development team in the area of healthcare IT tools.

Siemens provides for its service units around the globe various Knowledge Base software tools. These online and offline tools enable technicians as well as customers to quickly find relevant information that help solving occurred issues or answer raised questions.

The primary responsibility of a software developer is to provide software of high quality within given milestones. You will be an important part of the development team and fully participate in the development process.

Required education, skills and personality requirements

Required education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Educational Specialization
Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent work experience

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Number of years of experience

Personality requirements and skills
Professional skills:
• Experience in software engineering using and applying of OOD, OOP
• Understanding of the software development life cycle and engineering practices
• C# programming

Any of following experiences is welcome:
• Security: (PKI authorization/authetincation, Symetric/Asymetric keys, certification handling, https)
• JavaScript (e.g. Angular JS, Node WebKit framework)
• IIS, Windows Server
• search engines (e.g. SOLR, Lucene..)
• Web UI (Asp.Net , HTML5, CSS3, SASS, COMPASS)
• applying of Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)

Personality requirements and skills:
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Good aptitude for learning new technologies
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
