Job description, responsibilities and duties

We need a subsystem lead for a new industry automation platform (HMI) for the following tasks:
•Detailed planning and controlling of tasks, schedule, and change management as well as coordination with concerned partners.
•Support effort estimation and planning for subproject.
•Responsible for creation and alignment of detail design and feature specifications.
•Ensuring function and quality of the assigned work packages.
•Controlling technical realization of work packages.
•Responsible for the realization of work packages according to the SW architecture and early feedback to SW Architecture
•Cooperation in realizing work packages.
•Ensuring productivity concerning to currently valid guidelines and regulations.
•Technological lead for developers in his/her subproject
•Reporting and communication of sub-project results.

The job will require regular traveling to near shore locations.

Knowledge / Experience / Capabilities

•Experience with Microsoft Visual C++ programming and Microsoft operating system
•Exposure to Object oriented design techniques and modeling using UML
•Experience with design implementation, integration and test of multi-threaded and Client/Server applications
•Strong quality and result orientation
•Experience with design patterns desirable
•Experience of scrum methodologies
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work well within a team environment and interact well with other teams
•Experience working in intercultural teams
•Good command of English and/or German
•Knowledge of the Siemens industry product desirable

•Enterprise Architect desirable
•Microsoft Team Foundation Server desirable
