Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Prepare in conjunction with the Director of Sales the annual sales and marketing plan
• Provide input for the annual department sales budgets and forecasts
• Establish retail sales strategy for all items based on the annual number of turns per year and the treatment sales strategy
• Review business analysis reports and KPI’s implement action to ensure maximum returns
• Manage the business' overall financial performance (income statement and balance sheet; P&L)
• Add value through revenue growth and operational efficiency through process improvement.
• Collect and analyze data to make customer focused business decisions; ensure associates understand and exceed customer expectations
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times, including in-house guests, day guests, and telephone enquiries
• Effectively roster and book staff to cover all forecasted events and manage the monthly manpower costs as percentage of revenue and in relation to covers and the productivity
• Establish and maintain retail targets as a percentage of revenues
• Conduct daily meetings to discuss service goals and objectives for the day
• Attract, retain, coach and develop and train others - both for their personal growth and to meet organizational needs
• Build a team with different opinions, skills, experiences, and backgrounds; leverage personal, cultural, and functional differences to optimize team performance
• Build positive and productive working relationships with customers, subordinates, peers, superiors, business partners, and the community; encourage this behavior in others
• Work collaboratively with others to achieve common goals and objectives; serve effectively in both team member and team leader roles; promote collaboration & teamwork in others
