We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Sales Executive/Account Manager, who will be responsible for new business development, account management of existing clients, maximizing activities to maximize room revenue & conference & banqueting leads for the hotel. This is an ideal position for a motivated sales person who would like to make a step in their sales career and be part of a great Sales team.
• Working closely with Director of Sales & Marketing to achieve both personal revenue goals and the budgeted goals of the property
• Solicit new & existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections and written communication
• Work with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers
• Maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers and assist on report data collection of the competition data
• To manage a determined number of Key Accounts, Key Prospects and Other Active Files
• To initiate action plans for developing Key Prospects and new business opportunities
• To develop action plans for achievement of room night and average rate goals for transient corporate & groups
• Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customers and customers representatives, and draw up contracts to close the transaction
• To maintain a full account database within the Opera system
• To set up and carry out focused and innovative promotional activity e.g. educational on brand site inspections, mailings and incentives
• To participate in and organize sales blitzes, trade shows, workshops and sales trips as appropriate with a proper documented follow up
• Pro actively acquire new business by cold calling and cold visits
• Building up a relationship with bookers of (contracted) corporate/leisure/mice clients
• Actively attend weekly and monthly strategy sales meetings and daily line up meetings
• Proactively manage a pre-determined number of accounts, prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in rooms in line with budgetary objectives
• Proactively sourcing and prospecting new accounts for the Property, following the sales process through to convert into producing accounts
• To re-negotiate of corporate rate agreements within budgetary guidelines for all corporate accounts within agreed time frames
• To actively support and promote Starwood Sales Programs such as Team Hot, SPG, SPP, Starchoice etc.
• Participating on Global Sales Event Weeks
• Working with Global Starwood Sales Offices Worldwide to maximize revenue from international markets

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

• Experience in the same position within hospitality for at least 1 year.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Slovak, other languages are an asset.
• Sales ability and skill in both oral and written form.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to communicate customer needs and resolve complaints.
• Ability to effectively communicate in a friendly and positive manner with internal & external constituents.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to identify and develop new accounts.
• Computer skills – use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Opera.
• Driving license.
