Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

 System administration of our client's infrastructure (virtual machines, OS, networks)
 System architecture design and implementation (preparation and design new environments)
 Troubleshooting, problem determination and implementing solutions and fixes
 Management of virtual Windows and Linux servers, ensuring system performance and availability
monitoring
 Management of development and application systems (Tomcat, Drupal, Glassfish, WebSphere, IBM MQ, Jboss EAS),
 Network administration and documentation, IT security tasks, On call duties,
 DB administration (MySQL, MSSQL, DB2 and others), Batch/Cron jobs management
 Deployments, backups, restores for app and DB (production and test environments)
 Working pro-actively with development and support teams
 Adopting DevOPS culture - bring innovations in real life, use automation to reduce manual repetitive work

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

 Technical (IT) education and background
 Proven experience from operating and maintaining Windows and Linux based server systems preferably in financial grade environments, using PHP, Java, MySQL, DB2, IBM MQ, WebSphere, VMware and active directory
 Previous software development experience is welcomed but not required
 Previous work experience in financial services industry, experience with a layered SOA architecture as well as J2EE and PHP frameworks are all considered as a benefit
 Real experience with a DevOPS culture, related techniques and tools applicable in cloud or hybrid cloud infrastructures are considered as big plus
 Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
 Excellent problem solving skills, hands-on attitude toward your work, team and colleagues
 Proven experience in maintaining and communicating integration and design of solutions and in a development of enterprise and web applications on multiple platforms
