Network Project Manager

Project management skills with focus on network projects:
• Work with the lead project/program manager and other members and stakeholders of the program and particular projects
• Participate in defining/understanding the projects scope, tactics and plans
• Identify, document and communicate action items, issues and any risks of projects to it’s internal stakeholders as well as customer representatives
• Communicate status of particular projects, phases of projects, change and implementation updates and action items throughout the project’s life cycle to it’s internal stakeholders and customer representatives
• Work with the project lead to manage escalations (expedited requests) within the Networks group in accordance with the escalation process
• Identify potential synergy points among the projects and leverage from the experience within the program to optimize the overall portfolio (time, budget, resources…)
• Perform knowledge transfer with the affected teams and other stakeholders, acquire trainings on new technologies
• Follow the projects roadmap (from planning to delivery)
• Coordinate subcontractor teams who execute some parts of the roadmap where necessary
• Participate in the ordering process of HW and WAN lines
• Periodically update/share all project data on SharePoint (to provide better and up2date visibility)
• Manage, coordinate, track and communicate all resource details within the scope of projects to particular stakeholders (project/people managers) and provide reports to higher management
• Applications : MS Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, SM9

Scope of the projects :
o LAN and WAN projects, migration, extension of existing infrastructure, infrastructure refresh

Technology/Service scope:
o mainly but not limited to Procurve / F5 / Checkpoint / Aruba
o VPN / Proxy / LAN / WAN experience advantage, Firewall / IPS / Wireless area

Technology certifications:
 CCNA and higher certification or any other network level equivalent
