Required Skills
• Must have good understanding of network management and the tools used
• This role requires on-call Support
• Must have knowledge for addressing operational issues involving routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls in an enterprise environment.
• Must have hands-on experience performing system maintenance on any systems requiring security updates, patching, and upgrading
• Must have good understanding of layers 1-7 of the OSI model in a complex enterprise environment in the data center
• Must have knowledge about SNMP, Netflow, Sflow, Spanning, vacl and TAP technologies.
• Must have knowledge about network ports and transport layer protocols (UDP, TCP) and its implications for firewall rules
• Must have hands-on recent experience with LINUX.
• Must have clear communications skills in English and be able to work in a global setup with a virtual team distributed across the globe

• ITIL Foundations
• Hands on experience deploying HP server infrastructure Proliant DL (DL385 and DL360)
• Hands-on experience deploying HP SAN Storage hardware (MSA)
• Hands-on experience connecting and setting up servers with SAN / MSA storage
• Hands-on experience installing and configuring a server farm platform to support virtual OS instances
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting RH Enterprise Linux
• Experience installing and supporting Microsoft Windows Server (Enterprise / Data Center)
• Experience installing, configuring, and managing a virtual environment using KVM with Linux and Windows guest systems
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting cluster technology (Linux, Windows) in a virtual setup
• Experience installing OS level patches in a live environment (Linux and Windows)
• Experience installing and using data backup & restore technologies
• Experience with data replication technologies
• Experience installing and using HP Operations Center Software (OM) in virtual environments (Linux/Windows)
• Experience installing and using other server infrastructure management software (included Xymon)
• Experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (WTS)
• Experience installing and configuring antivirus and other security protection software (as required)
• Experience using HP Service Manager (Tickets)
• Project Management Basic knowledge
• Excellent communications skills (speak, read, write in English)
• Experience working with resources located in other parts of the world
• Experience working with App architects and engineers to support their needs with the virtual platform

Optional Skills
• Knowledge of network performance tools with preference for HP Software tools (NMC)
• Good understanding of NetScout solutions (tools and devices)
• Knowledge about HP ES Network architecture (DCNA, SSN)
• Understanding of network performance reporting solutions
• SharePoint admin
