Product Support Engineer

Coordinates all the product engineering activities, like runs, prototypes, validation proves, special samples of engineering changes, quality improvements and new projects
It is the contact between the assembling plant and the product engineering corporative offices.
• Gives technical support to the manufacturing process for the solution of problems related to the product performance, including the diagnostic of the electronic faults in: production lines, customer lines (0 Kms) and field returns (warranty).
• Gives support and coordinates necessary technical assistance for the development of engineering changes, materials and suppliers
• Gives technical support to all the vehicles assembling plant needs on product performance, initial samples or year model changes.
• For CSS:
Provides training on steering direction systems, flaws detection, testing operations and if it is required maintenance on customer’s fleet.
• Gives technical assistance and coordination to Customer, including assistance to regular, or extraordinary, customer meetings
