Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an experienced Turnover Superintendent who will be involved in specific turnover activities related to construction of Unit 3 and 4 on NPP Mochovce. The employee will interface with various departments during the erection activities in aim to ensure that all the necessary documentation and activities related to turnover are executed properly according to project goals and requirements.

The Turnover Superintendent reports to the Turnover Manager, in his field of activity, and is responsible for:
• Issuing of System Turnover Package for Mochovce 3&4 NPP;
• Attend the Kick-off-meetings/Progress meetings organized by the Construction / Commissioning Managers during the Turnover process.
• Organize meetings to monitor the progress of STPs (System Turnover Packages)
• Interfacing with the Construction Department during erection completion
• Collect from construction personnel, progress of installation, quality inspections and engineering activities on the site to meet the delivery deadline for relevant STP pursuant to TPSD under his/her responsibility.
• Preparation of the Preliminary STP based on input from the TPSD (Turnover Package Scope Definition). The Preliminary STP includes updated system process drawings, equipment lists, and Construction test document lists.
• Prepare Turnover package for assigned systems, according to the project schedule and in accordance with the Commissioning Test Procedure and TPSD.
• Assist in preparation of list of documentation required by Commissioning
• Assist Construction Department to define new system turnover package boundaries in case of partial delivery of a functional system.
• Collect and check documentation of a System Turnover Package (Turnover protocols and relevant technical documentation).
• Participation in System completion / Construction progress meetings
• Tracking and coordinating with Construction/contractors for the elimination of Commissioning punchlist items during the turnover process.
• Interfacing with Commissioning and UJD licensing authority during Conformity Inspection of System defined in STPs (System Turnover Packages).

Personality requirements and skills

• Education: Technical University/high school degree
• Experience:
- 5 years in construction projects (preferable in nuclear field),
- 5 years of experience in coordination/superintendent role
• Technical skills: Detailed Design, experience in quality field will be an advantage, ability to read drawings/technical documentation, general process knowledge of nuclear power plant, thermal cycle, and systems/devices related, specific knowledge of automation systems and instruments, previous experience in processing of pre-commissioning and commissioning test
• Language skills: English – advanced, Slovak language will be considered as advantage
• Soft skills: team leader, team player, good communication skills, negotiation skills, coordination, pro-active attitude, problem solving skills
