Head of Electrics & Automation (f/m)

Our client is a very successful and owner-managed plant engineering company, well located in central Upper Austria.

Your tasks:
•Building up and managing the Electrics & Automation department
•Developing and leading the employees within the department
•Realizing projects with your team from order placement to commissioning
•Preparing inquiry and requirement specifications
•Close coordination with clients and ongoing monitoring of the project’s schedule and goals
•Choosing and purchasing automation concepts, drive systems and sensors
•Standardisation of applications and interfaces
•Continuous development of the department
•Technical support for the sales team in preparing technical concepts and solutions

Your profil:
•Relevant technical education in electrics, automation, mechatronics or comparable fields (technical college, university)
•Several years of work experience for project management - preferably in plant construction
•First management experience is advantageous
•Fluent in business English
•Willingness to travel internationally (around 30%)
•Goal oriented personality with leadership skills and hands-on-mentality
•Flexible and resiliant
•Proactive and engaged approach towards new ideas
