Job description, responsibilities and duties

In the frame of the organization where the "sales team" is mainly in countries, the Business Manager (BM) develops the business for his dedicated business segment/region and identifies potential opportunities. The BM
builds the Offer/Bid and leads the project team. After submittal, he/she drives negotiations till the contract is awarded. He/she transfers the offer & Contract to the Project Manager. The BM is accountable of the Order Intake. The BM works in close collaboration with the front-offices, the GAM & KAM, the BUs

* Prescribe and build the relationship with the customer
* Understand the customers' environment
* Develop network inside Schneider (Segments, Countries, BUs) in order to identify opportunities as early as possible
* Tender preparation
* Prepare the offer project team with the support of all PEC departments (logistic, technical,
purchasing, site works, IGFC....)
* Coordinate, animate the team in order to optimize the costs, submit on time the proposal in order to meet customer expectation and overtake competition
* Define the optimized SFC budget to execute the offer
* Define clear objectives for each stakeholder
* Communicate regularly with the team through written minutes of meetings or mail information
* Master the different aspects of the offer: technical proposal, purchasing, knowledge of the
contracts, Terms and Conditions, control risks, commercial environment etc.
* Follow the different stages of the CPP: Risks analysis, cash curve, offer review, tender submittal
review during PSC (Project Steering Committee), and escalation workflow for getting the final
approval
* Prepare the PSC with the offer team and communicate the results afterward to the team
* Submit proposal and drive negotiation
* Submit the proposal to the customers for negotiations
* Transfer offer to execution
* Prepare the 'transfer meeting' involving the entire offer and execution team

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Electricity/Automation or Master in Business

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

* University education in Electricity/Automation or Master in Business
* Minimum 3 years experience in sales is a must
* Experience in project environment
* Strong autonomy and leadership
* Excellent level of English language needed for the day to day work (international project team)
* Another language would be valuable
