Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Responsibility for the Financial Shared Service Center
  • Responsibility for ongoing operations and continous improvment process.

  • coordination and implementation of training programs
  • employee management : Create individual development plan for direct reports / staffs, support them to get onto a higher level of competences; Target-oriented management and development of the interdisciplinary and disciplinary staff; Employee Development: Mentor, develop and motivate the direct reports, review and provide timely performance feedback
  • Infrequent travel activity in the space of Europe.
  • Ensuring accountability for the insurance companies to be assisted
  • Optimization and further development of the subledger-processes
  • Coordination with upstream and downstream organizational units regarding the optimization and continuity of the end-to-end-processes
  • Coordination and execution of training

  • Knowledge in accounting policies (IFRS) relating to sub-ledger processes
  • Management of projects
  • Strong knowledge of change management and project management tools
  • Able to speak and write English fluently, ability of German language will be an advantage. Slovak language is a MUST.
  • SAP R/3 and SAP FI expert
  • A personality suited to leadership (management, organization) 5 years experience in a leadership role
  • Strong Leadership and coaching skills
  • Possesses strong communication skills, including meeting moderation and faciliation
  • Good presentation skill
  • Highly driven and strong level of self-initiation
  • Pronounced understanding of complex and economically correlations in combination with analytical, conceptual and independently working method

It belongs to a multinational company Schaeffler. It was established in 1999 in Kysucké Nové Mesto, approximately 10 km from Žilina and it currently employs ca. 4900 employees.
