Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Responsible to the MANAGER with authority to carry out the following duties, which include but are not limited to:
• Independently administrate the local Scania Assistance accounts payable and receivables ledger
• Check and control the cost and quality of an invoiced repair as well as the correctness of the invoice in accordance with established GOP, guidelines and manuals and if necessary in cooperation with technical staff
• Handle and manage invoice corrections in workshop invoices
• Independently handle any invoice related inquiries from customers, dealers, workshops and distributors
• Responsible for managing the account reconciliation of the AP and AR balance accounts including account 1799 and act on any deviations
• Responsible to monitor and manage accounts receivable including issuing invoices (payment requests), sending statements, reminder routines, re-invoicing and ensuring payment on time
• Approve received workshop invoices and credit notes in accordance with the Scania Assistance Authorisation manual
• Initiate payments to repairing workshops
• Register all incoming invoices in the financial system as well in the Scania Assistance Emergency system
• Train and guide workshops and dealers in Scania Assistance policies, processes and procedures or other related processes and procedures
• Actively participate in Scania Assistance improvement work
• Promote and live Scania’s Core Values of Respect for the Individual, Customer First and Quality
• Comply with Company policies and procedures, including the completion of documents and records
• Foster and promote a safe and healthy work environment maintaining safe work practices at all time and to work within and comply with Company safety policies and procedures
