Essential Duties and Role Responsibilities
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Marketing plan
 Together with Marketing and Communications Manager develop the yearly marketing plan, focusing on PR activities
 Support, coordinate activities of the marketing plan
 Follow-up and reporting
Events
 Test drives, Open days (supporting dealers)
 Other customer activities, Special events (YETD competition...)
 Organisation of product launches (communication/press materials)
 Production/Adaption of videos
Public Relations
 Develop PR plan for the year
 Manage the cooperation with journalists:
 Press releases
 Press conferences
 Journalist trips
 Press activities (test drives)
 Customer magazine, four times a year
 Coordinate/supervise PR done by dealers
 Media monitoring
Others
 Internal communication
 Internal magazine, five times a year

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) or Czech - Advanced (C1) or Slovak - Advanced (C1)

Scania Slovakia s.r.o. is delivering heavy trucks (+18t), buses and coaches. The standard spectrum of the sales and services is extended by contracted services, parts sales, used vehicles sales, assistance and finance services.

Scania Slovakia belongs to Central Europe business unit together with Czech republic and Hungary. In Slovakia the structure consists of shared functions at Distributor level and 2 dealerships - West and East. Under the structure of these 2 dealership we provide services through the network of 6 workshops (repair and maintenance centers) in Senec, Nové Zámky, Žilina, Zvolen, Poprad, Ličartovce.

Today Scania CER counts approximately 750 employees, of which in Slovak entity we employ more than 220 employees.
